How do I book an appointment?
The easiest way is to book online via our booking system — you can choose your preferred date and time and confirm instantly without needing to call. If you prefer, you can also call us on 03 9039 5243 during clinic hours and we will book you in directly.
Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor?
No referral is needed. Chiropractors are primary contact practitioners in Australia, which means you can book directly without seeing your GP first. Simply book online or call us.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
We generally have same-week availability for new patients. Book online to see the next available times, or call us if you need to be seen urgently and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Is there parking at the clinic?
Yes. There is 2-hour street parking directly outside the clinic on Mount Street. Additional parking is available on Burgundy Street (1-hour), Yarra Street (3-hour), and Hawdon Street (2-hour). We are also a 2-minute walk from Heidelberg Station if you prefer to come by train.
Do you accept private health insurance?
Yes. We have HICAPS on-site so you can claim your private health rebate on the spot at the time of your appointment. All major health funds are accepted. The amount you can claim depends on your specific policy — check with your fund before your visit to confirm your entitlements.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
There is nothing specific you need to bring. If you have had recent imaging relevant to your condition (X-rays, MRI, or CT scans), bringing these or the reports can be helpful. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. The appointment will begin with a health history conversation before any physical assessment or treatment.
How long is the first appointment?
Your first appointment is longer than a standard follow-up as it includes a detailed health history and thorough physical assessment. Allow at least 30 minutes. Subsequent appointments are typically 15-20 minutes.
